You must have sex on the day of your ovulation. Between 24 hours before you ovulate and 12 hours after ovulation. How to Conceive a Boy

• Charting cervical mucus is for determining when you ovulate. To do this you will check your cervical mucus everyday. On the day you ovulate your cervical mucus will be very elastic like a raw egg white. You must chart for more than a month to conceive a boy.
• BBT charting (Basal Body Temperature) can be used along with cervical mucus charting to be more precise. Basal thermometer is used to take your temperature every morning before you get of the bed. You will see a rise in your temperature when you ovulate. This is when you have sex to increase the chances of having a boy.
• Ovulation predictor kits is also recommended to find out the exact time you ovulate. Ovulation predictor is used for finding out when your body releases LH (Luteinizing Hormone). Test twice a day, morning and evening. Ovulation occurs about 24 hours after you get a positive result from your ovulation predictor kit. These kits can be a bit expensive but it's worth it.

• Having sex at the right time is very important, to increase your chance to conceive a boy, no earlier than 24 hours before ovulation and no later than 12 hours after ovulation. This is the time when your cervical mucus is less acidic and slippery to help the Y chromosome boy sperm to get to the egg more quickly.
• When you are trying to conceive a boy sexual position can contribute to increasing your chance of having a boy. Deep penetration can help the "boy" sperm to be deposited close to cervix, giving it a chance to get to the egg quickly.
• Orgasm during sex is good if you are trying to conceive a boy. Because orgasm increases alkaline levels in the vagina and making it more favorable for the Y sperm.
